To raise awareness about the developmental milestones and the importance of identifying the symptoms and getting help early, the Learning Ladders Society is currently waging an awareness campaign known as the “Learning Ladders Autism Awareness Campaign 2016”. The purpose of this campaign is to help the public to better understand autism and to increase awareness so parents of children with autism can come out from the shadows to seek education and therapy. It is important to identify the early warnings and act early, even if the problem is only suspected.

Each month, the centre will be producing an autism-related article published in Borneo Bulletin, in effort to spread more understanding on what autism is all about for the general public of Brunei.
